Zanthoxylum is a genus of about 250 species of deciduous and evergreen trees, shrubs and climbers in the family Rutaceae that are native to warm temperate and subtropical areas worldwide.
It is the type genus of the tribe Zanthoxyleae in the subfamily Rutoideae.

Water - Water the plant in 2-3 days or when soil gets dry .Pour the water till deep down.
Temperature - Ideal temperature 18-24 degrees celcius.
Care Tips - Do not over-water as it leads to root-rot. Water in early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler and direct sun will not cook off the moisture before it can seep down to the roots.
Light Requirement- It can grow in full shade ,semi-shade or no shade.
